Message from the General Secretary

The General Secretary Greetings from CCT in Jesus’ name!
It is wonderful to once again testify upon the love of God, the riches of his mercy and the depth of his grace to his people. My heart is filled with joy as I look back at what God has done to us.
During the month of June we had a lot to do, of which none was thought to be easy. After struggling with our human frailties and worries we surrendered all to God, and He gracefully saw us through. We have seen him through successes and achievements during the Management and Executive Council meetings and our intervention in several national cross-cutting issues.
Hopefully we know or have just heard about the story of Nehemiah, the cup bearer who stood to build the wall. Although he and his people were short of resources – including time, still they managed. They managed because every person, men and women had put their minds to work. Moreover, they strategically worked each in the portion in front of their houses.
If we could work each in our positions; students and teachers, military and civilians, courts and prisons, peasants and executives, the government and its people, and every one of us, no wall could be too tall or too thick for us to build. If we work to transform our nation from where we are we can.
We should just stop grumbling and whining. Let us build our nation from where we are.
One thing is certain: God is with us.Source :http://cct-tz.org/
